Following some really busy weeks and weekends travelling the country it was great this week to have a visitor to our Music Store in Newport from our old friend Chad Smith.

We gave Chad the grand tour which included Austin's Brass Instrument Repair, Fly's Percussion Hire Department, Mike's Musical Instrument Sales section and Chad was really impressed with our recently expanded Brass section, he likes nothing better than a blow on the Trumpet when he's not playing the Drums. He spent some time talking to Simon Brittlebank who seems to be always on tour with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales with our Orchestral Stage Management Services and finally Chad had the pleasure of visiting the inner sanctum of Ev-entz which is Adrian's office.  As you can see from the photo below he seemed to like this place the best and this was the only place where he could sit down, relax and have a cup of coffee.

TAIKO DRUMS

Ev-entz are pleased to announce that we are adding Majestic Percussion to our percussion range.  We were delighted to see Majestic's Sales Manager Japp Ruisch who visited South Wales a few weeks ago and we had a great meeting and discussions which resulted in us placing a order. This means that Majestic will now form part of our percussion hire range and that are we now a main supplier for Majestic Percussion. 

Majestic provide a quality range of percussion and it will provide even more choice to artists who use Ev-entz.  Adrian Evans, MD said "We are delighted to be working closely with Majestic, their instruments will be a great addition to our range and will work alongside our Adams range of percussion so that there is a choice for every occasion."

As we announced recently on our Blog, we have increased our product range for Yamaha products and we are delighted to introduce and review the Yamaha Pocketrak C24 & W24 models which are now available from Ev-entz.

This is an awesome tool to record individual rehearsals, music lessons or band rehearsals and performances.
